Scan 300' radius of well area as per MMS requirements to insure all debris is or has been removed from the Gulf Of Mexico ocean floor, all abandoned well stub pipe must be cut-off below the mudline. A clearance letter and report is then sent to the customer after each job for MMS reporting.

ITEM C - Bottom Site Survey - Top
Royal Service & Rentals, Inc., provides personnel and equipment to Scan around platform area prior to drilling rigs or jackup boat moving onto location. Noting all canholes, pipelines, debris etc., that may interfere with operations and possible damages to rigs or boats. This survey generally extends out approximately 400' around platform. Measurements and distances are documented with all Sonar data a report is then generated defining the entire survey a report is then process and e-mailed to all interested parties. .
ITEM D - Bottom Site Clearance - Top
Royal Service & Rentals, Inc., provides personnel and equipment to Scan area around platform prior to rig moving on location for any/all debris, existing pipelines, old rig can holes etc., that may interfere with operations. Much like a bottom site survey but may extend out-wards from the platform 600' or more.
ITEM E - Rig Moves - Top
Royal Service & Rentals, Inc., personnel using the Mesotech MS100 sonar system work closely with the rig mover giving providing distances and measurments as the rig in in movment being placed on location and by either placing the rig back into the exsisting can holes or keeping the rig out of old canholes and away from pipelines etc. Royal's Sonar personnel are most experienced in rendering this type of crucial data during rig moving process.
ITEM F - Move Jack-Up Boats On Location - Top
Royal Service & Rentals, Inc., provides personnel and the Mesotech MS 1000 for this most delicate procedure. This service is preformed with the MS1000 scanning sonar while moving a Jack-up boat onto location and keeping him clear of any debris or canholes. This servcie maybe preformed serveral time per day moving the jack-up boat onto a new location each time.
ITEM G - Salvage - Top
Royal Service & Rentals, Inc., and the Mesotech MS 1000 sonar unit can be the underwater eyes for a diver when visibility is at it's worse and salvaging debris from the ocean floor is necessary. This cuts valuable bottom time to a minimum and asures that all debris is recovered.

When using Royal Service & Rentals, Inc., combined with the Mesotech MS 1000 sonar system when diver are not available or current conditions may be a hazzard Royal has deployed and orientated templates in relationship to rig headings to + or - 5 degrees.
ITEM I - Typical Sonar Report - Top
Royal Service & Rentals, Inc. policy is "that job is not complete until the paperwork is completed". Royal will provide it's clients a typical Delivery Ticket for services rendered, detailing all services, problem encountered, and solutions. A formal report is then compiled in Excel format with Auto-Cad drawings for our customers to use in fileing their own reports. The formal report has a graphic of the Sonar Scan, and enhanced to point out particular anomalies, objects of interest, can holes, trash, pipelines, or whatever is seen by the sonar display.
MS 1000 Digital Sonar Systems- Top
The Mesotech MS 1000 is designed to convert any standard PC into a full-function sonar processor without the use of additional boards or hardware. The MS 1000 is a Windows based application that utilizes the familiar Windows interface.
The MS 1000 permits the simultaneous operation of multiple sonar heads (imaging and/or profiling), and altimeters, allowing the user to input and record any sensor(s) via RS 232 with an ASCII or BCD format. Advanced target measurement tools and recording of the data (including sonar settings, sensors and navigation data - NMEA 0813 format - 232 levels) makes the MS 1000 the most feature-packed scanning sonar processor available.
